The NSHI Academy has been established with a clear purpose: to provide vital support to healthcare professionals and increase the number of qualified respiratory nurses.
Respiratory diseases are amongst the greatest causes of death, often mis-diagnosed or not treated in line with National guidelines. Our mission is to develop workforce clinical skills to enhance healthcare delivery and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
At the NSHI Academy we offer comprehensive respiratory training and education to clinical staff. Working in Partnership with with ICBs, TLHC and private sector clients we can tailor our services to up-skill healthcare professionals across the UK in Respiratory, CVD and diabetes.
Our programs provide healthcare professionals with the necessary expertise in Asthma, COPD and ARTP Spirometry. All our courses have been designed and developed by our National Training Manger, Sue Meehan who is a Registered Nurse and Qualified Lecturer.
Through our specialised training initiatives, we aim to bridge gaps in knowledge and practice, empowering clinicians to provide optimal care and support to individuals dealing with respiratory health challenges.
