All of our clinics are face to face and travel times to clinics may vary depending on location. There may be occasions where there could be up to a 2 hour drive to reach your clinic, but this is seen to be the exception, rather than the norm. We advise that usual journey times would be half an hour to 1½ hours from your home address.

There may also be the occasion when an overnight stay could be required, to minimise the travel burden.

We understand that people have commitments, and we would always consult and discuss this with you and endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible.

About NSHI

NSHI provide specialist support to general practice by conducting asthma and COPD reviews, often utilising decision support software to enhance patient care. Additionally, we operate spirometry hubs and collaborate with severe asthma centres within secondary care.

The specific nature of your work and clinics will depend on your location and skill set.

We create a supportive environment to help our nurses develop and progress to Specialist Respiratory Nurse Advisors, with access to the NSHI Academy for up skilling. Our internal training courses and structured nurse progression pathways further enhance professional growth.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work within your region alongside up to 10 other Nurse Advisors and a dedicated Nurse Manager. Regular meetings are held via Teams, with face-to-face gatherings at least three times per year, and the entire company comes together twice annually to strengthen professional connections and share best practices.

As part of the role, you will have access to a range of benefits including:

  • Annual bonus incentive scheme
  • Company car or car allowance
  • Company pension
  • Private medical insurance
  • NMC/RCN fees reimbursed
  • Subscription to PCRS
  • Monthly broadband contribution
  • Daily lunch allowance when in practice
